Hey guys, I'm still around yes, just haven't been writing anything.
I've been working on try to fix up a car to sell so I might have a bit of spending money.

What I'm looking to possibly do is to put a lift kit on my 95 ZJ..
The question is what route to take..
I probably wont want to spend a whole lot, but I just wanted to see what my options were. If I go with a 4" lift, I should be able to run 31's correct?
Whats my best option of getting the stuff I need to lift it? Is there a brand out there that will be good, yet not too expensive?
I noticed that a lot of these kits come with 4 shocks, springs, etc. I work at an autoparts store, is there anyway I can get these through my work do you think, or are these 'special' performance shocks or something?

Sorry about starting the new topic, I just felt I was kinda askin a little diff. question.

If you can get the part numbers for the shocks you need and your store sells that brand.. Then you can get them.. Nothing special about them..

IF you only want to fit 31's you really only need a Budget boost.. IF you want to send some money.. get the RE 4.5 kit.. You will be able to fit 32's or even 33's if you dont mind a little trimming...

Rubicon Express has a website .. Check it out...

How would I find this part number? Is there a specific size or something that I would need to get, or does it have to be a certain brand?

YOu can do some searching around.. Find the lift you want.. They usually come with DT or whatever shocks.. The part numbers for the shocks are listed on most of the descriptions ..

Then just find out if your parts store can get those shocks.. That part #

OR you can just look on the Rancho site and get the part number (for whatever lift you want..).. Most parts stores can get ranchos..

exactly how much are you wanting to spend you can put 2inch spacers on top of a 3.5inch lift. the lift its self is $488 and the 2inch spacers are any where from 45$ for a set of to to $120 for a set of four with extended bum stops. a good place for spacers are www.rocky-road.com and for the 3.5inch lift got to www.rockymountainsusp.com

From what I've heard, lift situations between the ZJ and XJ are similar. You can usually do up to about a 3.5" lift before doing any other stuff. Usually after that (or sometimes before that, it all depends) you will possibly need an SYE.
