but one of the things I like about the flares being the entire fender, they are easily replaceable for those of us how hit their hole flare/fender on little yellow posts in the food lion parking log and subsequently need to get body work done. yes I know I'm an idiot This way you replace the flare and your done.

Just did a bunch more reading on it, and yeah, it's growing on me. Still some stuff I don't like, but it's mostly cosmetics. When are these things available for test drives Wink ?

Did anyone else notice that it says something like "front flares removable just like the doors" or something to that effect.

That would be very handy for froadin' Wink

Too bad about the in-line six being discontinued. That's why I bought the 2006. Didn't want no stankin' V-6. Mr. Green

Anybody catch this?
Quote:
Electronic Roll Mitigation: A system that observes and monitors the vehicle roll attitude and lateral force to estimate the potential for a rollover situation. If necessary, the engine torque is reduced and a short burst of full braking is applied to the appropriate wheel to help stabilize the vehicle attitude and reduce the vehicle’s lateral force

Yes, the Unlimited is discontinued. It will be replaced by the four door model. And yes, the whole front fender (all flare) is removable. And the official name is JK, not TK. Which is not really good, when you think about it: "Come check out the new Jeep JoKe". I really do like a lot of things about it though. I really like the piece-by-piece hardtop, and the electronic disconnecting swaybar on the Rubicon.

It does look good, but I don't like that hard top...I'd take a one piece hard top. I don't like the BesTop 2-piece hard tops, or any other fiberglass top that comes in two pieces...it's just another place it can leak down the road, and over your head Shocked
