hey i was just woundering whats the difference between short arm suspension and long arm suspension? im guessing travel? i will mostly be doing desert driving on like dunes and sum rocks but i was just woundering wats better for this

well im guessing a 3inch lift, do u think i could fit 33" tires in there? without major cutting just minor cutting?

A short arm kit would be fine for 3 inches. In fact with a rusty's off road lift you don't even need new control arms.

I would imagine you would have to do a heafty amount of carving to fit 33s under a 3 inch lift. Swampy is the guy to ask about that if you want to make sure you get the right answer.

alright kool well what about 32"s, its just my buddy was tellin me i could, well lets just say hes a "truck" guy lol and he says jeeps come iwth 31"s stock and i laughed at him cause dont they come with like 29"s or sumthin, but yeah i was thinkin short arm, but what were u saying about the rusty's? explain please lol im new to this stuff

damn it, after looking at rusty's 5.5" long travel lift i want that, that looks sick, but the only thing is, how hard is it to change out driveshafts? and how do u measure them and stuff urg, i hate not knowing much about this stuff, oh well this is one hell of a way to learn i guess lol

I would suggest you to pm swampy about the driveshafts. I am not sure but I think he said he is still running the stock driveshafts. I don't know if he has an sye or anything of that nature.

let me know how the install goes. The more I think about it the more I like the rusty's lift. Post some pics too, its gonna look sick.
