I have a '03 Wrangler Rubicon. Is there some way to keep the dome lights from coming on when the ignition switch is turned off? I would like them to only come on when a door is opened or when the switch on the steering column is turned on.

I don't know how to disable that feature but it drives me nuts also.

Yes, there is, but it will also keep them from coming on period, unless you turn them on on the steering column. It will also disable the annoying buzzer thumbs but all you have to do is pull the #4 fuse behind the glove box.

If you wanted, you could do like I, and a bunch of others did, and wire a switch with an inline fuse to plug into the #4 slot so you can turn it on and off. (i.e. - doors and no doors Mr. Green )

Stevo,

I removed the #4 fuse but the interior lights still come on when the ignition is turned off. They don't come on when the doors are opened. What I would like it just the opposite. Guess I will have to but a shop manual and see what I can figure out.

Thanks to all for the help.
