I have a 94 Cherokee. I noticed an oil leak and found the plug that connects to the oil pressure sending unit had oil dripping from it. The rubber seal around the one wire had come out of the plug. It will not stay in. I cleaned it and put some RTV on it to see if it would stay in. Now my oil pressure is zero at idle and a little less than 20 at highway speeds. It was higher than that before. What happened? What caused that rubber seal to pop out?
