I got a set of rear leafs from a 89 S10 for free. How much lift do I need for the front? What else do I need to do to the front? Steering parts, etc? I am getting new shocks. i dread that. I have a 94 XJ. It is 2 wheel drive, so I don't need to worry about transfer case. Is there anythig i need to look out for or do?
Thanks for any help.

Depending on the current arch of the S-10 leafs and your leafs you'll be taking off your XJ, it'll usually yield somewhere around 3 inches. You never really know until it's done.

Here's an excellent write-up on the leaf springs:

What do I have to do to mount the s10 springs? Do I have to cut the ends or anything like that?
