I am installing S10 leafs in the rear of my 94 XJ. Will 3 inches lift in the front be enough to even it out? I am thinking of using new coil springs for the 3 inches. Anyone have any suggestions or preferences on the best place to get them? As for the steering, what do I need to do? New pitman arm? What about the angle on the rear axle? Do I need to do anything about that? Mine is a 2 wheel drive. Sorry about all the questions, but I want this done right. I would never have known about using s10 leafs if it wasn't for this forum.

hey there, I am also wanting to clean up the rear suspension on my XJ. Can you send me a link to where you found the info on the S-10 stuff? I want to go get some, just not sure how much I need. The whole pack, do I need to cut off the eyelets? Which models? years? does it matter? thanks

Do a search on S10 in this forum, there's plenty of threads here on it.

You shouldn't have to do anything with the steering for 3" of lift. You will need to recenter the front axle though. A trackbar bracket or adjustable trackbar will take care of that.

You might develop some driveline vibes...key word might. Every Jeep responds to lifting a little differently, so you won't know until the lift if in. A transfer case drop should solve that though.
