I've got a 95 cherokee I'm trying to do a cheap lift on so i can clear 31" tires ( i know i'll have to cut the fenders)...I've got 3" Rubicon Express coils in the garage, wouldn't that be the same amount of lift as putting a 3" spacer in?? Would this work with the stock trailing arms and sway bar links??? I'm not worried about the rear at this point..

thanks for any info

Put the coils in. it's the same lift, but IMHO a better way to do it. You don't have to worry about the arms until you go over 3". Get the toe in set after you install the springs.

I would put the coils in there rather than spacers. more flex and most likely a better ride than spacers.
