I was just going out to my Jeep, then up pulls a flat black, 08 looking wrangler thing. big fenders and tires, velcro strips on it. weird wind sensors on the outside Then some other longer wheel base jeep but covered in that black fabric to hide it, and then like 5 other trucks with trailers, all with a mobile garage. I guess they're all the way out here in Golden CO testing the jeeps. I heard them talk about fuel, then they hooked up a hose to a fitting on the frame rail, just under the drivers door and it pumped out fuel! ...for another vehicle. Here, oh yeah my jeep is in there also here's a link to the pics

that fuel thing was cool

OK they're back again, but two new things. I don;t know what's been released yet, but:

Jeep wagon? Looks like a smaller station wagon, definitly Jeep though, almost Outback sized.

Ansd then I watched this wrangler thing drive away, but DIESEL. It was pulling a good sized trailer also. It was quiet but definitely a diesel.

Very interesting - wonder if the other one was a Compass.

that was a compass then, checked out the pic. It was covered also, but yoy can still see it pretty much, That one wasn't running though. Here in golden, there's a big mountain next us, steep road up it. Probably testing the diesel wranglers towing. All I know is that I just about needed to change my pants when I heard that diesel Wrangler pull away under heavy load......

It's not a Compass. It has the same front-end as the uncovered Wrangler.

Oh, yeah there was a Compass, I didn't get a pic of that, that just stopped today. The pics are only of yesterday, the wranger and other thing, commander? Im not sure. But today was the compass and diesel wrangler. The people were nice, I talked a little, but they weren't really open to talk. Said they were from Detroit though...
