A gas tank skid would be my first priority. After that, and in no particular order it would be LCA, engine/tranny & tcase skids. A set of rock rails would be a good idea as well.

from experience, i would recommend skids in this order:

t-case, gas tank, Engine, rock rails.

oh and get yourself a Alumi-flex tie rod from http://www.toysbytroy.com/Product_Files/Product_Alumi-Flex.htm

if you go anywhere near rocks, even small ones, you have a good chance of taking out your tie rod. the Alumi-flex tie rod can flex up to 8" before it takes on any damage. since i bought mine, it's paid for itself several times already.

i love that tie rod. first time i was out on a big trailride with the club i joined, i bend my tierod almost 2 inches on a rock going over a hill. the parts store wants $80 for a replacement. so i figured that i might as well get the Alumi-flex one since it should pay for itself. i run it in all my jeeps. since i've installed it on my Xj it has been hit by several rocks. but it only has scratches in it and is still perfectly straight. best upgrade i've done in a while. eventually i'm going to get their entire alumi-flex suspension/steering system.

I would wholeheartedly recommend the Gas Tank Skid but I am a bit biased! Unless you just feel like replacing your tank when you install the skid!

I was down from 20 Gallon capacity to about 10-13 gallons. It's a wonder it never leaked!
