I got the wiring harness and everything and I get it to turn on, but no sound. I matched everything up the way it said to. Any ideas? Maybe has something to do with the factory amps, if there are any....thanks guys.

are you asking me this? Cause I have no idea, but it would make sense to have to hook the remote the the amp....but I would like to just bypass the amp completely, in my previous experience with factory amps, they tend to distort at high volume levels with an eftermarket stereo so I'd rather just get rid of it.

After searching hard...I came up with this and thought I'd post it for any of you that have had the same problems.

Why can't I get sound from the new stereo installed in my Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth?

Many of the vehicles in the Chrysler line have an Infinity sound system. If your vehicle has a factory installed Infinity system, check that the blue wire in the wiring adaptor is connected to the amp remote wire of the new receiver.
In some cases, there will be a separate wire grounded to the back of factory stereo. Make sure to ground this wire, along with the ground wire of the new receiver, to the chassis of the vehicle.
