TrackLocks are friction based limited slips.

Ok, thanks, been wondering about that.. some cind of cluch system then, can these wear out? is this the type to prefer, or are torsen like used on the H1 the preferd limited slip. However i guess a locker would always be the best thing..

The car makes a pretty nasty sound from the rear some times after driving on the high way. Could the Limited slip be worn? I'm also not shure if the preevious owner have been adding the right additives to the lubricant. What would be the result of this?

P.S:
Sorry if the spelling might be a little bad.

add some limited slip additive and do figure 8s in an empty parking lot that should cure the noise
