Help - advice
My Cherokee Orvis rear brakes seized last night and the rescue patrol said that the rear caliper pistons needed a service and gave me a report for the garage. When I contacted the garage he said the reason the brakes are binding is because the limited slip differential is beginning to seize and needs to be replaced. Needless to say the price difference in the repair is enormous. Can anyone tell me if the rear axle can cause the brakes to seize? Sad

Never heard of that before... Try a different shop..

More likely your brake proportioning valve is bad..

Bring it to a different shop and see what they say..

Let us know..

By the way.. I just spent 2 weeks in Hereford (not far from you) not to long ago.. I thoroughly enjoyed myself..

Anyway.. Hope you get it figured out..

I have a friend from Glasgow - she now lives here. She asked me to go with her to test drive a car she was looking to buy. She nearly killed us because she couldn't quite get the hang of the gear shift being on the "wrong" side. rofl
