Thinking of getting a GMC Safari or Chevy Astro. Question is how do you think it would tow Zilla?? Was gonna buy a 2 wheel dolly that would hook to a ball hitch. Think I would be better to get a full size van??

I would vote for full size. After trailering my TJ with my 3/4 ton pick up, you'll be glad you did. I think the smaller ones would work...but most of them only have V6's and crumby gearing. Confused

Wink

I'm now looking at this....

1983 with a 5.0 and original 124,000 miles. Looks like it was well taken care of, even the paint looks great for it's age

You will be much better off with the full size van. Think about hitting mountains trying to pull yur jeep....you need some decent power to keep it moving.

I plan to get a chevy truck, hopefully a 2500....and a trailer.

I'm lucky right now, I have a buddy with a low boy, we can get two jeeps and plenty of room for spare parts! Cool Nothing like pulling up in a semi! Shocked

Least the don't have ignitions systems! Also they can run off used vegatable oil! Cool
Myth busters did a test. They ran diesel fluid & got 33 mpg, then they ran used vegi oil & got 30mpg!

I vote good way to go!
