I changed the fluid in the rear on a 99 Wrangler. I tied to do someone a favor. I used Mobile synthetic 75/90. The driver said the rear burned up and is at another shop which is telling her that I put in the wrong fluid. She is looking to get compensated for a rebuild. What fluid does this vehicle take? I am very suspicious. Thanks

There's nothing wrong with using 75W-90. As stated above though, if the diff is limited slip (TrakLok), then friction modifier should have been added.
