HI,
and hello to everyone, and thax to troy for sorting things out, i have a cherokee 2.5 petrol 1997 110,000 miles. that failed it's m.o.t yesterday on CO emissions 0.46? now i asked the guy if i should change the 02 sensors and or cat, he said no need as the test computer showed them working fine. he advised me to use a fuel additive valvoline syn power to be exact, and bring it back for a retest. i have taken this advice and will be going back tomorrow. has anyone used this product with success?.........cheers

Hey, glad you got the login worked out. I've used something similar (think it was Valvoline but don't remember off the top of my head.) When I've used it, I've put it in a few tanks before the emissions testing to make sure it's all burned out of the system before they hook it up. But, it looks like you've found what the real problem was. No real tricks to removing the old system other than have a can of PB Blaster around and let some soak in a few hours before you start taking it apart.
