Went wheeling this weekend and of coarse got stuck. Pulled out the good ol winch and went to town. Hit the switch and nothing. Sat there for a while and got frustrated. I checked wiring and it all looked ok, nothing loose. I tapped the motor with a hammer thinking maybe a it was just jammed and it took off. Anybody have any similar problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Mr. Green

Is it the first time you've used it? I've never had any problems with mine. But I made time to stretch the cable out and work the winch a few times prior to wheelin' with it. Maybe you just had a sticky solenoid?

No, not the first time. I did stretch the cable after I installed it though. I have been out with it 4 or 5 times now and it has worked great. I am dumb founded here......

With the service that Warn offers directly, I'd give them a call and talk to the service dept. They may know right off the bat. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me to hear they sent you a new unit. Wink
