Hello, My name is Eric, I have a 1978 CJ 7 Golden Eagle (ownd for 15 years)
New to this Forum, Found it doing a search
I live in Washington Seattle Area.

My question is....... I have a 78 CJ7 with a 258 engine, T-18 Tranny, D-20 Transfer Case,
I just purchased a 360 for this and would like to know what i have to do to mount this engine. I know the tranny will bolt right up But I heard that I need a motor mount for the passenger side.
Any help would be appreciated

Thank you
Eric

An AMC 360, right? Yes, you'll need a passenger side mount. The 2nd link has a source for them if you can't find one.

Plans have changed. I jujst picked up a 401 with only 5k on the rebuild. So since it is ready, I am going to put that in. Picked up the motor mounts yesturday.
AnyBody know the best points to pull a 258 with a hoist without minimal tear down
