changed the oil myself ,put in 4 quarts & 1 mystrial oil then took it for a drive of 10 miles then i noticed my maintance requirement light came on and doesnt want to go off any ideas ?

What engine? 4.0L 6cyl?? It takes 6 quarts.

that might just be a timer for the O2 sensor. I think it happens around 85K miles. At least thats what my '88 had. You dont reset it, you just remove the bulb.

4.0 6 cyl thanks for info i'll check oil stick if add i'll do it if not i'll return

the timer itself is a (clear?) plastic box about the size of a pack of cigarettes, under the dash against the firewall on the drivers side near the hump (right of the gas pedal). If its there, just remove it and throw it away , 91 is when they got rid of it so it may not be there.
