Ok, so I've searched, and yes I know that 31x10.5x15 is the largest tire you can run without modifying the stock suspension.
I have an 18x9 wheel package with 285/60r18 tires.
I've checked the tire calculator on 1010tires website and the two are very close to being the same dimensions.
Does anyone know if the 18" package will fit a 97 wrangler?

If they are similar overall dimensions, they should fit fine. Are the 18s the correct bolt pattern? 5x4.5"? What is the backspacing on your 18" wheels?

I'll be nice and withhold my comments about 18s on Wranglers.

Yeah, I'm not even sure that I am going to like the 18" wheels on the Jeep. I don't want the Jeep to look ghetto. I think I will probably just start from scratch with wheels and tires. I will not be doing much offroading. What is a good setup?
15x8 wheels and 31x10.5 tires
or 16x8 wheels?
Suggestions?
I also hear that the Bridgestone Revo's are getting good reviews. Thanks for the reply.

I'd go with a 15x10 inch rim it will give ur 31x10.5 a good full look also it should wear a little better.. I run a 31x11.50 swamper on 15x10 rim and the tire sticks out the side of the finder flare bout 1 inch... Only minor rubbing at full flex

You don't want or need a 10" wide wheel for 10.5" wide tires.
