I found this video on youtube that cracks me up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COK8aqXs8h0 I mean, Id be blown away if I saw flying cars too, but I wouldnt immediately say that I have to show my Mutti. Im trying not to be stupid, but, uh, are there actually flying cars? And do they only have them in Hollywood, or what?

I think that is the new chevy commercial that shows the flying cars. I saw the actual commercial the other day, it was different from that one. I'm sure that has something to do with viral marketing and some of the message was cut out. Your safe from flying cars for now.

If it's a Chevy commercial how come there's a Hummer in it? I thought it was some student project or something. You're probably right, though, I don't watch TV so I wouldn't recognize it. There's another video like it up there, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ufUzlrpPZE

GM is the parent company of Chevy, GMC as well as Hummer (H2, H2 SUT and H3 only).

Yeah, I guess you're right, I can see the cars better in this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFfbk25gjs8 and they do look all like GM cars. Interesting ad campaign... I don't even know what's being advertised.

It's for their new 100,000 mile warranty. The basic jistof the ad is, that if you own a new GM vehicle, then you can have the freedom to drive above the competition. Worry free, of course.

When I was in Hollywood I dont remember seeing any flying cars. Then again I was looking for hookers so I could of been looking in the wrong part of town.

Aha. Thanks for clearing that up. Nuts. Interesting that companies are using youtube to advertise. Wonder if youtube makes any money off of that. I googled GM and flying cars and found this page, curious: http://www.angelfire.com/planet/futuretechtoday/

Youtube will make its money when it sells out to a larger company like myspace did. Basically for GM all that is is viral marketing, which is video or other form of advertsiment that gets forwarded through email or posted on websites like this one.

Here is one that my ad agency did for Long John Silvers. After we finished this our client decided not to back it like it should have.
