I was supposed to borrow my buddies cherry picker to pull my motor this weekend but never got around to it.

Anyway I got ambicious after work today and the trans came out easy so I figured id go for the motor too.

Put 2 1/2" x6" lags into the main support rafter, and hooked up the chain and come a long.

Had to let the air out of the tires, but other than that it worked quite well. Other than tilting the motor forward and dumping the rest of the coolant onto the floor and myself it was easy.

Now I can get to work cleaning up the jeep and fixing the motor

someone teach dan how to rotate pics before uploading!!!!
chris (nice pics - did the same with a come-a-long for a buddy's ranger last week)
