Thanks Billy, basically the idea came from the frustration of having to constantly 'fix' rock chips/dings in the grill (dremeling the rust spot and patching it with touch up paint...I HATE rust)...Every time I washed the Jeep, I found a new chip, with rust in it.

Having seen others use the DIY method of Rhino-lining brush-on. I asked my local Line-X dealer, whom had done such a GREAT job on my truck bed, how much he'd charge to spray the grill and he said "heh, never done that one before, I'll do it for $50.00" I couldn't drive over there fast enough Smile I helped him dis-assemble the whole thing, spray, and re-assemble. The whole process took 2hrs.

IMHO I think it should come that way OEM, LOL.

Hey Knight, Does that little "cowl scoop" help bring air to the cab or is it mostly for looks?

I do like the Rino lined grill idea, I'm constintly breakin' out the touch up paint after Washing.
It would look sweet on a Black Jeep, I'd even do the panels just under the doors.

Actually I bought it just because it was 'different' and liked the 'looks' of it, but it does indeed force more air into your HVAC system. When traveling down the road, it's like having another fan speed available...I love it.

I've had my Poison Spyder rocker knockers for about a year now, had them powder coated by a local guy (I bought mine before they started shipping them powder coated from their shop), he did a great job, except he got lazy on some of the prep work. I had rust bubbling up from under the powder coat flaking the PC off in massive strips, it was as bad as all the SmittyBilt products I've seen...*sigh*...

So, I ripped them off yesterday and took them to my line-x dealer today...here is the end result:

The 1st pic didn't turn out right, I think it caught too much flash, the 2nd one shows the true color of the Line-X better...

Just thought I'd share!!!

Thanks broh...I've been here, mostly lurking though...LOL.
Next photo update will be of the new hood Smile...had to get a hood that would clear the top pulley of a supercharger (YAH BABY!)...should be delivered to the body shop soon.

I'll be sure to post up the results.
