i had my new tail bent up today and put on with my super 40. IT SOUNDS GREAT!! not to loud but nice tone, deep and throaty. not tractor or ricey like the glasspack i had on it. and there is no drone inside the cab like the reg 40. this is with a magnaflow highflow cat.

97XJjeeper,

Just curious. Do you have headers to go along with your high-flow cat and exhaust? If so, does it make a big enough difference in power that you can feel it a bit in the seat of your pants? Thinking about doing this as the first upgrade to get a bit more power. My stupid engine has to downshift just to climb an overpass on the freeway.

I installed the one in the previous post. I don't really notice a difference in power but it fit with just a little adjustment. My old one was cracked. I posted it on this site with pictures.

Doesn't sound too much different than my Borla-equipped Cherokee.

I just installed the header from Auto Parts Network last weekend. Even for an idiot like me, they went on nicely. I don't notice much diff in HP either it sounds much better.. but I haven't upgraded from the cat-back yet either. The stock header had two big cracks in it....

Where did you get the highflow cat and what was the price? I just put a super 40 on my 97 and it's nowhere as good as yours.
