I am draining my front and rear axles on my 96 Cherokee. Is there anything i need to look out for? Or is there any tips on how to do it?

Leave the very top bolt in the cover but loosened. This will help avoid dropping the cover in the oil catch pan when you crack it loose. Otherwise, just pull the covers off.

look for metal shavings at the bottom.

Thanks the only thing i didn't do was put a magnet in the axles.
