i live in Portland, Oregon..

As the jeep say there i had about 8-9 inches of life with a leaf spring swap and cut fenders on 36' TSL's
Bored and stroke 4.2-4.0 inline six with all MSD. the good hp dana 30 with supirior axles and dana 44 rear.. np231 case with gears.

rite now the jeeps being rebuilt, im moveing up to 42inch TSL. dana 60 front with a custom dana 44 high pinion rear. Going to 3 link the front with race runner coilovers and 4 link rear end.. Choping the roof and converting the rear end into a wrangler. ill post up pics soon..

Very sweet rig! My fiance is actually from Amity, OR. She was just out there for 2 months this summer showing her horses. We're planning a road trip out there next summer, but it'll be in one of her Firebird's since their gas mileage is far better than mine lol....

kinda off topic, but my gf and i both have jeeps. we are looking for a group of jeeps that do mild to moderate offroading, or some extreme stuff that we could ride along with. we both live in newberg, about 20 min from Portland.

im so glad you sold your xj before subjecting it to that redneck non sense. i know its all a matter of opinion and im simply just stating mine. 40" tires with 1-ton running gear and chopped top on a unibody caged xj just doesnt work for too long in my opinion. want a one ton running gear get a vehicle with a frame and please dont destroy such a beautiful cherokee ever again. xj's need to run 31"-35" tires max. my 33" tires and 4.5" lift work just fine with mine. but like i said its all opinion. i just cant bare to think about that poor xj being subjected to all that

agreed , they simply aren't designed to take such stresses . a unibody just busts apart in the end when you do such things .
