Well looks like my alt went... Ive only now got two fog lights and 3 or 4 offroad lights to come.

Should this require more amps? I found a 105amp for about $140 CAD from autovalue.

Does anyone have tips or a link to a write up on how to replace the alt?
Where do I loosen the belt tension?

Not knowing your year. You have an option of two alternators.
Delco 95-105 amp
Denso 105 amp
Both mount bascially the same.
They both come out of the bottom of the engine.
As for the belt tension release. The power steering pump is the location
In front of the pump at bottom is a 13MM nut which allows the slide bolt to move. The bolt that loosen the pump is at the end or side of the pump,
it also is 13MM. At the back at the top and bottom of the pump there are
2 each 13MM bolts which allow the pump to loosen. By loosening the 4 each 13MM bolts/Nuts the pump should loosen to allow the belt to be rmoved.

Ok i loosened to bolt holding the slide bolt, now I guess I turn the slide bolt in so it pulls the PS pump toward the motor to releive tension?
Also there are 3 bolts that bolt the pump to the bracket it looks like...one top one bottom and one side. Guess ill go out and try loosenin just the top/bott ones..

Once I get to the alternator...is there just one top and one bottom bolt holding it in?
