I put a 3" lift kit on my jeep cherokee and found that the previous owner had put a 1" drop shackle on. I want to put a 1" spacer in the front to level it out. Will have to drop my break lines and transfer case if i do?

So a total of 4" of lift? You might be able to get away with the brake lines. The best bet is going to be to put the spacer in, and see how much slack is left in the lines. If there isn't enough slack, a cheap alternative would be front brake lines from a YJ.

As for the t-case drop, there's no way to know until you put the spacers in.

strike me dead for saying this.....but maybe take out the extended shackle and replace it with the stock lengthed one? if you only needed the 3" of lift then you should be fine that way. less driveline problems, no brake line worries, smoother ride, and longer life out of the springs.
