We replaced the viscous coupler in my 94 ZJ with a new one. Everything went well and everything seems to work fine.

Only now I get this consistent vibration which feels kinda like I have snow tire on all the wheels, which I do not.

We dropped axles, dropped trans case, switched coupling and put it all back together. we filled the Trans case with Dexron.

Any idea where the new vibration may be coming from?

Thanks.

AND a BIG thanks to whoever did that VC replacement writeup with pics. It came in very handy.

Hey, my guess would be you didn't line up something on one of your driveshafts. When you disconnected them, did you chalk mark the relationship to the u-joints? Just a guess.

No we did not use chalk marks. we merely removed the drive shafts and later put them back in. We had to roll the vehicle to get the joints in the back to line up. Actually, when lining up the front, we hooked the front shaft to the trans case then twisted the axle enough to line it up on the front end.

Does this sound wrong? Possible cause of the vibration I am experiencing?

Thanks
