I currently have a 2000 Sahara with a 4" procomp suspension lift and 33/13.50 Super Swampers (wich are ridicously rough). I also have the stock 373 gears front and rear and a limited Slip Diff. I was thinking about adding a 2" spacer lift on top of the four inch suspension and running some BFG 35" All Terrains. My question is, If I have a 6" or 5.5" lift will I have to get a new drive shaft and all that other stuff to make it right? or will I be fine with the stock parts?

If at all possible I would really like to avoid adding to the cost of just the tires and spacers. But its not possible, what would be the cheapest way to make it happen. I called some 4x4 places and all they do is try to sell me all this stuff, I just want to know if its necessary, or if I could do without.

Thanks for the advice.

Im pretty sure you will need long arms at that height, i know thats what they recommend for the grands anyway and being a shortbased vehicle i would also recommend it

Add a 1" BL to what you've already got. Then lengthen your bumpstops to prevent the tires from rubbing the fenders when you stuff a tire.

If you went higher via suspension lift, you would be looking at the spacers/taller coils, bumpstop extensions, a SYE and double cardan shaft. It would be recommended you upgrade to a long arm suspension kit also.

You pick the cheaper way. Also, those 3.73s are going to make your performance on 35s suck. This hobby ain't cheap. You've gotta pay to play.
