i have 1994 jeep grand cherokee ltd. i replaced the coolent temp sensor and upon doing so the electrical conector terminal was dry rotted and broke. is there any way of buying a kit to make new ones for problems like this one? what can i do or go to get a new replacement. i checked local junk yards but no luck. no one seems to know where to get one. a friend said there should be a kit i can get to make one is there such thing? if anyone knows where please help me out. i hope it's called a ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR TERMINAL if not what is it called. thanks guys!!

that definately happens a lot.. i have broke a few tabs.. all i use to fix em is a zip tie to keep them connected.. i would say rig it best you can.. unless you find a the same part at a junk yard or a build it yourself kit.. those of course are better

Hit the bone yard again..

IF you have the 5.2 check dodge trucks.. They will have the same sensors..

IF you have a 4.0 check Cherokees and TJ's ..

If you cant find it on any of those.. Is it a single or double terminal plug??

You can make one from a couple of bullet connectors sqeezed down small enough to hod the pins on the sensor...

it's a double on a 5.2 v8. what year truck would i have to look for and size engine? thanks

5.2 in trucks has been pretty much the same from 88 or so til about 2000 .. You shouldnt have a problem finding a dakota or Ram with a V8 that you can get it off of..
