lookin into this a maybe a spring or summer project, what all involved w/it?? i know i'd atleast need an SYE, but would i need a body lift?? and how much exhaust work needs to be done with it?? i'm lookin at gettin one already made like the teraflex or nth degree, to much custom work for me at this stage.... Wink

a bl and mm lift will help driveline angles alot and may even be required.


I want to make one eventually but cant decide what im doing with my jeep

I've seen some people needing to modify the exhaust a little but that was on a TJ.

I think that there will be just a little modification- not nearly as much as a tj would require.

I just put the 33 Engineering low profile skid on my TJ last weekend. It has a 1.25" body lift and 1" motor mount lift, and SYE, but it doesn't look like any exhaust modification is going to be needed. I'll know for sure when I get in onto the trail at RC's open ride on the 15th.

i'll be at that ride, if i see ya i'll have to check it out. i'm not gonna be able to go any higher on my jeep for awhile and the added ground clearence would be helpful... Mr. Green
