hey hope the title got someone feeln bad for me.. ha ha... i have been having just the time of my life changing my rear main oil seal... wwwhooo wee it is a BLAST! let me tell you.. if you dont really know your jeep and want to get aquianted.. this is definately the way! ok anyway.. ya it sucks if youve never done it.. i think next time id fly through it tho.. good experience!!

ANY FREAGN WAY i got the seal changed and oil pan back on every single bolt tightened to spec... and now i cant get the last bolt to my passenger side exhaust manifold.. where the Y conects to the exuast manifold up in the engine compartment.. i got one bolt but the other there is just no room for a hand!!

problem is.. i cant get the nut on top of the exhaust clamp... im so close to being done all i lack is this one bolt.. if ANYONE knows how to get to it please help.. im gonna try taking the heat sheald off of the exhuast manifold and see if i can access it from above.. stupid thing.. couldnt be as easy as the driver side.... nooo thats to convenient

it could be worse you could have a trans am with a big block and it could be time to change the spark plugs , causing you to almost have to remove the engine .

Use 2 long extensions AND a universal joint socket. Put some heavy grease inside your socket, so it holds the nut, then gently weave it down until you catch the first coupla' threads, then keep tightening. This is how I did mine!

well i used a bunch of extentions to get the bolt off.... but then the nut off the top fell off... and there is ZERO room to put the nut back on top where it goes to put the bolt on...

put greese in the socket to hold the nut in or tape it in , put something sticky in it . use a glue gun you can just pull it off once its on . or start yanking stuff .

sound like a fun one
