I have a 2000 cherokee with lots of body damage. I'd like to find some kind of aftermarket body kit of any kind to use on it. I realize that this has unibody construction so it may be difficult but this will be a project car.

Does any one know of any sources for such a project?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Since the Cherokee IS unibody, you can't "tub" the body like you can with Wrangler-type models (CJs, YJs, and TJs), therefore, there are no fiberglass bodies available. If the damaged panel can be easily removed, you can just replace the panel (like doors). With fenders and quarterpanels you can either bang 'em out as smooth as humanly possible or cut the offending portion out and try to fit a replacement piece in, or even diamond plate it like I did. Mr. Green

Or, you can let your Heep wear them with honor. Very Happy

OR you can cut out ALL the metal panels, rollcage the entire thing, and wheel it like you stole it. Twisted Evil

OR, you can buy a newer used 2000 Cherokee, move all your offroading components to it, and sell the remainder as parts. Neutral

Embrace the versatility of that which man hath wrot, the JEEP... rofl

I'm aware it's a unibody and that will be a challenge. Hoping to find someone who has done something similar and can offer some advice
