transfer case question

i have i think it is a dana 20 transfer case what spline in the input shaft and is it the same spline as a dana 300

What vehicle do you have? I know the d300 has 23 splines and I think the d20 is either 26 or 29.

I dont no the spline

but i use to have the quadra trac and i dident like it so i found another th400 bolted to the model 20 but the case was cracked so i got the tail shaft put in to my th400 and i want to up grade to a dana 300 but i dont want to go through chaing the tail shaft again i want to no if it will be a stright bolt up

and to find the splined can you just count the splins on the tail shaft

yes it will bolt up or yes that is how you count the splines
