I just bought my 88XJ not even a month back, and the stereo system consisted of the sparkomatic tape deck. Nothing else. No speakers. All the wiring is there though. I just picked this up from a local craiglister though, and honestly I have no idea if it is even compatible with my truck. But, if anyone has any knowhow, here's the model number.

if it fits in the hole then its compatible . the jvc only needs 3 wires to run (ground , acc , power) the rest are speaker's power antenna and antenna . if it's for some reason not compatible then you can wire in a stereo from scratch you only need about 10 feet of 14 gauge to do it .
