Hey everyone, I recently purchased a stock 2000 Cherokee Classic and discovered it has no tow hooks, skid plates or off road set up. I have been checking the web for after market packages and have heard/read that the first order of business should be a fuel tank skid plate then something for the engine/drive train. This Jeep is going to be an on going project with big items like a 3"lift to accomodate my new 31" tires eventually. As money permits. I am finishing school in a month or two and looking forward to visiting some old haunts in the Rockies that I had been to previously in my 91 Isuzu. Lots of rocks and mid range 4 wheeling. We had several blizzards here in Denver as everyone knows and I spent alot of time driving folks into work. The Cherokee was a champ and I never got stuck although some others with 4x pickups and such did.Suggestions for skid plates, tow hook mount points,I have a couple of $'s from Uncle Sam coming back to spend so would appreciate any and all input. Thanks.

check your local junkyards for skids, or fab your own if you have the tools. A friend of mine bought the warn tcase skid for 90 bucks so I know one area is covered for you on the armor part

as for the lift you can do the budget 3 inch lift with s-10 leaves and a spacer for the coils
