i am doing a hand throttle on my tj and i know how i am going to do it. i was wondering if any one could post some pics on there home made projects they have done on the hand throttle.

that is pretty cool looking but i dont want to drill up holes in my console. does any one have any pics of the throttle body part on the project

I have the one by RE. Yea I could have saved a few buck in building my own...but for the $25 or $35 it was at the time, it was easier to just go with theirs. Wouldn't be without it now. Wink

Here's the pdf file for the re hand throttle installation. That is really simple. I'm going to make one of these for my CJ.

I put one on my CJ7 today.

Here's the new throttle.


I just drilled a hole in factory throttle line bracket. The new one is in the rear.


This is where I attached the cable, it was free so I used it.


It cost $2.50 for 6ft of cable and the rest of the parts came from a 10-speed.
