I recently bought a 1993 Jeep Cherokee 4 door with an AW4 auto, NP 231 transfer case, and the 4.0L high out put Inline 6 cylinder. the truck has 176083 miles on it and it runs great I LOVE IT ALMOST AS I LOVE MY WIFE ( not hardly but you guys get the idea) Rolling Eyes my truck has 235/75/R15 meat on it nice and tall but narrow enough to dig in when i need it

my plans for the Jeep are 2 1/2 inch full legnth exaust Gibson Try-Y header
Accel Super Coil
Needle bearing rocker arms
super charger kit ExPEnSiVe
28# injecters
areomotive fuel pump
summit racing hi torque cam 260/272 duration 428 intake 458 ex lift
.30 over bore
roller lifters EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
urethane motor mounts
oil cooler
trans cooler
larger radiator

yeah i'm looking at about 450-600 HP and 550-750 lb torque
i know with a cam that big its gonna be routy and lopey with the idle but its gonna be worth it to blow the doors off of Camaros and Mustangs with it

Thakn you for looking and advice will be greatly appreacated

thank you Brian A.K.A cksport

4.6 stroker and loose the blower , get a nitrous kit instead . i wouldn't even do the nitrous but since you want to blow away stock mustangs you will need it in the shoe box .

the 4.7 i believe requires .060 over bore i am not a big fan of that , .030 is a better number but thats just me .

you could also look at an aluminum head , i just don't think a blower is the way to go on these engines (don't forget you will also want a aftercooler for the blower or intercooler if you go turbo instead ). if you want it to last a little while that is .

make sure you get urethane mounts for the transfer case as well if you can other wise you could have things brake like the transmission housing .

what type of blower are you looking at ? centrifugal? or more of a roots blower like a eaton m60 , 80 ,90 , 120 etc .

so what else have you done to this jeep ? or are planning to do ? it sounds like its gonna be cool

so far just basic stuff better plugs bosch wires cold air intake k&n filter custom exaust 2.5 inch

next inline is an accel super coil, rotor, accel cap, coil apring isolaters in the front full legnth helper springs in the back if i can afford it a gibson try-y header for better scaveging
take off the intake take a flap wheel to it and knock down all the high spots and smooth it out some i'll prolly port the head since its only 2 years old and get better quality valves and springs with to it to accomidate the increased lift by the new cam

phenolic throtel body spacer helix bore 70 mm throttel body Razz
i'm only gonna raise it by 2-3 inches so my 235/75/R15's quit rubbing
BF GoodRich All Terain TA
good tire
nice repaint candy paint red with black trim
new rims and tires

the coolest part is my wife is gonna help me with it she really wants to get into high performace and car building it think its gonna be a good way for us to have some fun and become closer at the same time i really think she gonna enjoy it

aside from that little bit i've done to it its bone stock internally and it wil leave patches of rubber 20-50 feet long depending on how hard i mash the gas

where you live at bro maybe we should meet up some time and go trailing

i was thinking maybe a 700R4 out of a chevy or gmc 2500 from the factory they can handle over 500 horses but in only the truck form car form you're looking at about 300-350 if you're lucky

You have to use a image host like Photobucket for example. Then you insert the link created for each pic into your post wherever you want it!

The link will look similar to this.
[IMGhttp://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u244/orangeamc13/Big%20O/Captured2006-5-200008.jpg/IMG]

And the link will turn into this once posted.
