I got a hitch for my 98 XJ sport and it is used so it didn't come with any hardware. I was told that I need an installation kit because there are no bolts to install the hitch that come with the car from the factory.

Please let me know how you guys deal with this or where can I get that Kit.

depending on the hitch (eg class 3) you should only need say 4 1/2 grade 8 bolts .

count the holes on the hitch and measure the diameter . then go buy some grade 8 bolts , grade 8 nuts and some washers .

they could also be 9/16 or m16 etc

Thanks a lot for your time guys.

If you look at the installation manual: http://www.draw-tite.com/fitguides/pdf/N75054.pdf

on the second page, figure 3 and 4, I am looking for the square Blocks and carriage bolts. Any idea where to get them?

Thanks a lot.

Carriage bolts are easy. The block on the other hand... Looks like there in there because of access problems. Your going to have to figure out what options are yours.
