Hey everyone! New to the jeep thing (about 6 months) but I think I'm on the right track already. The first week I had it I bought a 4.5" lift! The jeep was supposed to be just a winter truck but has now become my daily driver. Anyways, I'm leaking oil from the output shaft seal which is not that big of a deal except that because of the lift, the drive shaft is constantly under pressure. I think I need longer control arms to fix the problem, but is there another option? And if i do need control arms, do I need both lower and upper or just lower? Thanks, Eric

Adjustable lowers will be good enough.. Or if you know a good welder you can extend your own..

MY first set where home made adjustables.. I cut the RE 3.5" fixed arms and made them adjustable with some 1.5" grade 8 threaded rod and 3 nuts....

Thanks for the response and I would try to extend the arms but they are rusty and probably not strong enough to modify. I'm going to try and find some lower arms, any recommendations? Thanks, Eric

Well, I'm on a really tight budget so I'm going to look for used units first, it's just my style. Thanks, Eric
