Locking gas caps work pretty good but can be bypassed fairly easy if a person knows the "How to."

Hope this cheaper method works for you.

There is supposed to be an anti-sphion(?) device (coiled spring) near the bottom of the gas filler neck to prevent a hose from reaching the tank. Some can be seen near the top too.

I ended up buying the Mopar cap from quadratec. It has worked thus far. I'm sure you could easily get by it, but its like a lock on a screen door. Just there to keep honest people honest.

I tried to on my Jeep once and well I'll tell you I couldn't get any gas out. Either it works or Im just an idiot. Wink

The dealer can get you one that is keyed to your ignition key so you dont need another key. But mine for my 06 was $55. I did the autozone one for $15
