so i looked through the whole forum here and im a little confused on the whole S10 leaf springs. I know that they come from an 86-89 or something like that. But my question is: are they a direct bolt in or do they have to be cut up? could someone please shed some light on the subject, thanks Confused

Yes, you have to cut them.

You'll need to cut the eyes off of the main leafs of the S10 packs. Other than that there is no other cutting that will need done. Use your stock XJ leaf and put the main S10 leaf(with eyes cut off) under it. From there, just mix and match until you get what you want. It's a trial and error process to get the correct height you want.
