whats up. i am about to start on my 3 link for my rear coil sping set up and was wandering if anyone has built one or knows any good links that i could get info on. i was going for the two control arms with the triangle link coming off a custom crossmember to the top of the chunk using johnny joints for smooth movement. i would love input if anybody has any and some setup ideas or designs if any. peace.

Here is what i did.the only thing is that its a triangulated 4 link.which is pretty much what you are looking to do.

i would say you are better off with a triangulated 4 link over a 3 link.you are leaving yourself wide open for suspension failure with a 3 link.when you bring both upper links together before the link mount and use only one, when that one link end fails you are out of luck and have a suspension that will not work.at least with a 4 link if one end fails you should be able to limp off the trails with the three remaining links.

the jeep is long gone and has been scrapped for the simple reason its a uni-body.yes you can make it take the added abuse of the rear coil over and the added flex that comes with it.the time and energy involved in my eyes is not worth it .thats why i'm doing a Tj truggy build now.having to plate the entire frame and adding a roll cage was to much for me.all that to one day roll it and have to do it all over again ,no thanks.

as for the rear truss that and the diff cover, that is Blue Torch.same thing with the front 44 cover and truss

hey thanx for the input guys. i erally appreciate it. im not thrilled about the unibody to much either but i love the xj. ive always been the type to run something in the ground till it is of no good anymore. this is my third xj build and i have one left behind the shop for parts and a possible fourth build. i have seen a few xj's with custom square frameing done. i gave it some thought. i was about to start a cj-5 build but the owner sold it out from me. i have always wanted to build a cj. well good luke on the tj and thanx agian on the info. i always welcome others opinoins. peace
