Very nice indeed Cool !

I was thinking of doing something similar myself, to give a bit of bottom end to the factory speakers, so i'm full of questions.

What did you make this from? MDF? Is there an actual box behind there, or did you use the quarter panel as a box? Did you stuff some insulation in there? Did you manage to squeeze the amp behind there also?

Best regards,

thanks. I made it out of mdf, there is a box behind its there was room for about .8 cubic foot enough for most 10 inch's. i didn't use insulation but i did use spray on sound deadener in the box as well as the 1/4 panel no room for the amp behind but if you have a small enough amp under the rear seat would be a good spot. unfortunately my amp was too big so it had to go on the back of the seat Finger best thing is the sub doesent really take up any real space like a big ugly box Very Happy

im not sure about the spectrum but it sound good. probly no different then any other sealed 10 in box... i do still miss my 12's during some songs but for the most parts sound better as far as SQ goes. if your a basshead than you may want to build it out a bit farther and squeeze a port in there.

There is a company out there that builds a box that mounts in the spare tire... you have to mount the tire backwards and the "Box" fits in the back of the rim...

I have one in my Jeep... it is awesome... I will look and see who made it and try to remember where I got it and post that as well...
