If i put a 3.5 rubicon expess standard lift kit on my 04 tj will i need to buy a slip yoke eliminator and a cv driveshaft?

Most likely, yes. Even more so if you have a short wheelbase TJ. If your 04 is a Rubicon, you can save yourself the SYE as you've already got a fixed output on your t-case but you'll still likely need the double cardan driveshaft.

Keep in mind, with the SYE and double cardan driveshaft, you need to increase your pinion angle by using adjustable control arms. You might want to think about getting the full RE 4.5" Superflex kit (that includes all the control arms and a front trackbar) but substituting the 3.5" coils for the 4.5" coils.

(If you're interested, I have a buddy that's selling this setup, the RE 4.5 SF with 3.5 coils and OME long travel shocks for $1400)
