hey there everyone, i am looking to remove and replace the steering wheel, i have looked all over the internet to find procedures/difficulties in doing this but cannot find it anywhere for a laredo in this year range. now i know to un hook the negative battery hookup and, then undo the bolts at the back side of the wheel, my question is, has anyone done this that they can provide some tips for me i would really appriciate it. and once i remove the front part/airbag of the steering wheel do i need to purchase a steering wheel remover kit to take the wheel off, or is it just simply bolted on.

thanks i really appriciate anything!

It's really easy. After removing the four bolts for the airbag, unplug the airbag connections, then mark the wheel and shaft for proper alignment. You will need a steering wheel puller.

Once you get the screws off the back of the wheel and remove the air bag you will have a big nut in the center ..
I just pulled that big nut off and beat the old wheel off with a hammer... Steering wheel pullers are for wimps.. rofl

Have I posted a picture of my new switch panel yet???
