Here's the deal . Sunday night I was told that my lights were flashing on their own by my neighbor. I did not notice it until monday morning when on my way to the truck and it did the same thing . I don't have a remote I just use the key to get in and out of my truck. Is there any thing that I could check out to find out what might be the problem and what to do about it? Please help . Confused

Yes , it appears that is the security system that is doing the flashing . But without the horn .

I know that when I was having trouble with my battery cables being corroded, the system would temporarily lose power from the battery and then regain the power thus making the lights flash.

Have you noticed any problems with your battery cables? Any corrosion whatsoever on the terminals?

Your security system will do this every time the battery is disconnected, the battery gets too far drained and you try to jumpstart, or you lock the doors with the key. Try using the key to unlock the passenger side door while this is happening. I can"t remember if you have to lock and then unlock or just unlock. BTW a remote can be had on e-bay for as little as $20. Good Luck!

Yeah, that new remote is a good idea. Just buy an aftermarket remote on ebay for cheap as mentioned above, and instructions on how to train your jeep to it come with. I got it done in about....... less than a minute on my 94. Its extremely simple and much easier to deal with than a key all the time.
