A Little About Me
I have been a truck guy for as long as I remember. I have had (and still have) many of them, all of which I have custom built. From a 50 Ford pickup, to a 56 Chevy Cameo, to a 56 Chevy Panel, my first 10 years were devoted to old hot rod pickups.
When my in laws moved to the east side of the Cascade mountain range, I had to part company with a 58 Cameo Pickup to get a 4x4. I bought a Jeep. It was an 81 Scrambler! I loved that rig!!!! One day a girl who had just gotten her license ran a red light and hit us head on, totaling the Scrambler. It was sad.
After that, I wanted the biggest truck I could find, so I bought a 77 GMC Jimmy (Blazer) and built it up! 5 inch lift, 35 inch tires, winch, extra lights, and as many accessories as I could find. I drove it for 10 years!
When my place of work closed down, I had to park the 8mpg Jimmy and started driving a 78 Chevy pickup I had built. This one was a lowrider. After 6 years I knew I needed a 4x4 to drive again, and the mileage of the Jimmy combined with today's gas prices just wasn't cutting it.
Reluctantly, and sadly, I sold the Jimmy last week. But in it's place, I now have an 89 Jeep Cherokee. I came back to Jeep!! After a week of owning it, I really love it. I have a list all made out and I am ready to start working on it!!! It is a bit newer than all of my previous trucks, so forgive me if I have some questions now and then.
Hope this wasn't too long.

Well, Thanks! My 89 has a stock 4.0 with an automatic. From the sound of it, The exhaust may not be stock, unless thay are supposed to sound throaty!! It has plenty of power for me (I am getting older)
Answers are answers!! Correct or otherwise, I'll appreciate it just the same!
Now it is time to accessorize!!!!!
