its been almoast a week and i have replaced everything i can. cap, coil, rotor, disributor, cps, ecu, battery and its begining to piss me off. it will crank and crank but not start. its getting fuel but little spark. can anyone help me?????????

Are you sure it's getting fuel? Did you pull off the fuel line and try to start to see the fuel flow? The IAC could be totally gummed up.

where ya at, maybe i can give you hand, if I cant help i know many knowledgable engine people

my weekend is tied up with the OHV rally in placerville but maybe a chance to look at it during the week

put a spark tester in one of your plug wires , if you get a spark then your fine if not then your totally right about weak spark .

put a gauge on the fuel rail , you could get week pressure say 20-30 psi and it wont start .

first thing i would do is change that fuel filter and clean the throttle body .

its got plenty of pressure in the fuel rail. and now there is no spark. im about ready to say fuck it. and take it to the dealership but that was my last resort.

if you have a pickup coil in your distributor it may be that fairly easy to change you can check it with a test light should have 3 wires hot ground and ignition make sure your gettin power and then have someone turn the key to see if you get power to the other wire good luck

are you getting any engine codes? sounds like it might be a P0340 or P0320 (crank/cam sensors not sending signal to the computer...if your engine has them that is)

i just looked under the dash to pull codes and cant find the 16 pin connector. does anyone have an idea as to wear it can be? the dealership was able to get codes before and i dont know where orhow they did it with out that connector? and does anyone have any other ideas as to why it wont start????? please help me.
